Gymnastics Inc. joins The Hope Initiative

http://www.gymnastics-inc.com/

Gymnastics Inc. feels that the benefits of gymnastics training goes far beyond the acquisition of skills or tricks. We feel gymnastics is the ideal sport for building the physical attributes important to any athletic endeavor; coordination, strength, flexibility and body awareness. More importantly we feel that the sport of gymnastics, properly taught, can help develop the positive self-concepts and attitudes which are so important in coping successfully with any challenge an individual may meet.

Kitsch joins The Hope Initiative

http://kitschva.wordpress.com/
Started by 5 women and a dream, they are a quirky little shop, brimming with all sorts of handmade goodness from all corners of the lovely state of Virginia. Located in the historic neighborhood of Ghent, Norfolk, a community that is vibrant and full of town pride.

They've got something for everyone inside – from jewelry and clothing to bath products, housewares and pet stuff.  If you can’t find what you’re looking for, they will try to find someone who makes it. It may be your next door neighbor!  They also host a rotating art show on our walls featuring the art of up and coming local artists that create something that is a little different than what you find in other places.

Want to do it yourself? They hold classes and workshops to get you on your way. Knitting to sewing to painting…even hoop dancing!

Come in and say hello!

Jessica Oatman Photography joins The Hope Initiative

Jessica lives in Williamsburg, Virginia with her husband and three kids. Her oldest is a cancer survivor and an inspiration to many. She is the oldest of seven kids and grew up moving every three years because of the military... she loved it. Her brother, SGT Paul E Dumont Jr., gave his life for our freedom on Aug. 19, 2009 while serving in Afghanistan. He is the ultimate hero. May we never forget.

Photography is her heart and soul. She has a graphic design degree from Missouri State University. She believes in capturing people as they are. She loves life, Jesus, her husband, her kids, her family, anything with the beach or outdoors, traveling and of course all things photography.
